Aristurtle Racing Team
Aristurtle, is the student research team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, that designs, develops and builds electric race cars. Aristurtle is the Greek Electric Vehicle Formula Student team with the most participations and distinctions in international FSAE competitions.
SpaceDot
SpaceDot is a non-profit, volunteering and interdisciplinary student team, supported by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). The team was founded in December 2020 and consists of more than 40 students from AUTh and other universities across Greece and Europe. Their goal is to pave the way for innovative research on space applications.
Panther Racing AUTh
Panther Racing Auth was founded in January of 2017, by students of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering and is the first university team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki whose aim is to design and construct an original Moto 3 type, racing motorcycle.
ART
Aristotle Racing Team – ART was founded in 2006 by students from the department of Mechanical Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki who designed, constructed and tested the first racing car in compliance with FSAE regulations. Over the past 16 years, ART has counted 18 successful participations in FSAE competitions.
Centaurus Racing Team
Centaurus Racing Team was founded in 2009 by undergraduate students from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Thessaly and for 15 years they deal with the design and construction of single-seater Formula cars. So far, the team has participated in 22 competitions all over the world. Regarding this year’s racing season, starting in Austria at Red Bull Ring, Centaurus Racing took the 3rd place in Mechanical Design Event and 2nd place in Cost & Manufacturing Event.
Democritus Racing Team
Democritus Racing Team – DRT was founded in 2017 in Xanthi. The team represents the Democritus University of Thrace in the Formula Student and FSAE (Formula Society of Automotive Engineers) engineering training events, facing students from all over the world.
VROOM Team
The VROOM team was founded in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is focused on developing autonomous driving solutions for scaled vehicles.
A.S.A.T.
A.S.A.T. (Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team) is the first Aerospace student team in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It was founded in November 2015 and their primary goal was to construct an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to represent the team in the Air Cargo Challenge 2017. Today Aeronautics project is representing the team in Air Cargo Challenge 2022.
REM Team
Racing Electric Motostudent – REM, is the research racing team of the International University of Greece, based in the University of Serres. Their goal is the design and construction of the first electric racing motorcycle in Greece. What sets the team apart from other student groups is the ability for the university to use its laboratories to make components. 90% of them will be entirely made by the team members at the MT-LAB facilities on the campus of Serres.
PROM Racing
Prom Racing Team was established in 2008 by 5 undergraduate mechanical engineers, who were influenced by their love for motorsports. Those undergraduates studied and designed a Formula-type racing car, specially formed to comply with the regulations of the Formula Student World competition. The team keeps taking parts in many competitive events, earning consistently very good scores.
Perseus Racing
Perseus Racing is the Formula Student team of the University of Western Macedonia. The team’s mission is to design and manufacture a Formula Student race car from scratch. Since 2017, the team has designed and manufactured 3 combustion engine Formula Student race cars. In 2022, Perseus Racing set an ambitious goal to create the first electric car and participate in Formula Student competition in summer 2024.
